Boko Haram Commander Killed

The Military has said that one of the top Commanders of the Boko Haram fear gathering, Abu Usamah, has been kill by troops in Gorgi, Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.

Usamah as per an announcement by the Acting Director Defense Media Operations, Brigadier General Benard Onyeuko, was among the fear mongers executed by troops of the Operation Lafiya Dole during a backup Operation known as Ayiso Tamonuma.

He said that the late fear based oppressor die of shot wounds, having continued gunfire wounds during the experience with troops.

As indicated by the announcement, “it would be reviewed that on 22 March 2020, troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE, while directing a Special leeway activity in an auxiliary Operation called Operation AYISO TAMONUMA, destroyed some key Boko Haram components in an experience at Gorgi in Damboa LGA of Borno State.

“In our prior Press Briefing, we detailed more than 100 Boko Haram guerillas killed while scores of them got away with shot injuries. This was notwithstanding a few gear setback endured by the Boko Haram extremists.

“As an update to that report, it is satisfying to take note of that, possess correspondence capture affirmed by precise knowledge uncovered that a top Boko Haram Commander, *ABU USAMAH* was among those Boko Haram extremists killed during that experience.

“He had before continued lethal gunfire wounds in the firefight that resulted during the experience before his infantry hastily emptied him and pulled back. By the by, Abu Usamah passed on simultaneously.

The announcement included that, “In another advancement, troops of 159 Task Force Battalion, Operation LAFIYA DOLE conveyed in Forward Operating Base Kanama, Yunusari LGA of Yobe State, killed scores of the Boko Haram Terrorists/Islamic State’s West Africa Province radicals who endeavored to invade their area on 27 March 2020.
